Maori Bay painting

Over the past few days I have been fortunate enough to stay at Muriwai Beach in West Auckland. The bright blue skies contrast sharply with the black iron sands.  I added a painting I created from a few years ago and an extra photograph of the beach itself. The large rock is called Oaia Island and is a breeding ground for the Australasian Gannet or takapu.
